Life is so precious! This week we as a collective sighed a cry of relief and thanksgiving. Each of us is a spiritual being having human experiences. We are all human beings. No one human being is more important than another. When one life is lost, we all suffer. When one life inflicts pain or harm over another, we all suffer. We must begin to view our world with different eyes. We are one collective human race filled with diversity and richness. It is time to see the beauty in one another; To recognize that our diversity is our strength. This strength offers a way forward for us with the opportunity for new experiences. It provides us opportunities to offer healing and new ways to solve problems. Being the same with no diversity is our weakness. We are held prisoners within systems that do not change. We are kept captive and held back from evolving into better humans. It causes pain and hurt for many. When we are held back, it is only a matter of time before we become frustrated, angry, and then lash out toward those that hold us down or hold us back.
What kind of world do you want to be a part of? This is the beginning of a transformation of our society. We have so much power to be the change we want in our world. This moment in time is empowering for many of our black and brown brothers and sisters. Today I am proud to be an American. A person who held power over another and took a life is being held accountable for the actions he took.
This is not the end. It is the beginning of something new.
